Prenella Faye (Pommitt) Philbrick, 82, of Medicine Lodge, KS, died Saturday, July 24, 2021 at Medicine Lodge Memorial Hospital.
She was born on March 3, 1939 in Garfield County, Oklahoma, the daughter of Alexander Dock Pommitt and Nina (Postier) Pommitt.
As a young woman, Prenella showed registered shorthorn cattle at state fairs in Texas, Oklahoma, and Kansas. After her divorce, she became an over the road truck driver and also delivered new school buses from coast to coast. Prenella was very passionate about animals and wildlife. She was a lifetime Lutheran by faith and attended Trinity Lutheran Church in Medicine Lodge, KS and Faith Baptist Church in Attica, KS.
Prenella was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, J.C. Pommitt.
Cremation has taken place. Inurnment will be in Covington Cemetery, Covington, OK.
