WICHITA, Kan. - Lauren Lucas was named to the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll Monday afternoon.
The Little Elm, Texas, native slashed .375/.455/.625 with a triple, two walks, two runs scored and four RBI over the weekend. Lucas was responsible for four of the eight runs in Friday night's extra inning walk-off win vs. Houston. She registered a bases-clearing triple and then drove in the winning run on a sac fly in the bottom of the 11th.
This is the first honor roll selection for Lucas this season after earning Player of the Week honors in February.
Lucas and the Shockers travel to Stillwater for a rematch with No. 3 Oklahoma State Tuesday night at 6 p.m.
