HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Residents in the area of 6th and Cleveland in Hutchinson have been evacuated this morning due to a gas line rupture.
According to Justin Holzrichter with Hutch Fire, the 600 and 700 blocks of both 6th and 7th Avenues have been evacuated.
The call came in around 11:10 a.m. and residents were allowed back in just before 1 p.m.
This is the second such call to happen this month. A week ago, a similar incident occurred in the alley between Main and Walnut.
