Case count in Reno County is 1039, with 466 in community as of Sunday morning

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Reno County overall case count is at 1039 as of Sunday morning. The death count among Reno County residents is now 20.

The Correctional Facility cluster type has 603 active cases measured by the county's COVID-19 dashboard. All other active cluster types have a total of 52 cases. There are 32 active clusters in the county.

There are 466 cases in the community at large.

Twenty-nine people are in the hospital. 120 total have been hospitalized. Forty-nine have been admitted to the ICU and 16 have been intubated. These are Reno County resident numbers regardless of where they are hospitalized.

The community's positive test rate is up to 13.89%, with the overall positive test rate at 20.98%. 21.64% of the population has been tested.
