HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The House Committee on Redistricting and the Senate Committee on Redistricting will jointly hold a listening tour stop in Hutchinson from 9 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. Wednesday, August 11th at HutchCC's Stringer Fine Arts Center.
Testimony for the Hutchinson hearing needs to be provided to [email protected] by August 10 at 5 p.m. A sign-up sheet will also be available the day of the meeting for persons who do not register by the deadline.
Hutchinson Democratic Rep. Jason Probst is on the House committee. McPherson Republican Sen. Rick Wilborn chairs the Senate committee.
The meeting will take place prior to the Census Bureau's release August 16 of detailed population counts necessary to draw new districts.
