Several area teams remain among the state’s best in the latest Kansas Volleyball Association rankings released Wednesday.
Hesston leads the area contingent, moving up one spot to No. 3 in Class 3A with a 21-3 record. Halstead remains No. 7 in the same classification at 23-4.
Class 2A features two area teams in the top five. Moundridge moved up one spot to No. 4 with a 28-4 record, while Inman slipped one position to No. 5 at 23-7.
McPherson is ranked No. 7 in Class 4A with a 15-6 record, down one spot from last week.
Little River remains No. 4 in Class 1A Division I at 22-5, while Hutchinson-Central Christian moved up one spot to No. 8 in Class 1A Division II with a 17-8 record.
The Week 5 rankings reflect the 2026-27 KSHSAA classifications and information submitted through Monday.
