HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson City Planning Commission will take up the preliminary plat for a housing subdivision next to Plum Creek Elementary School to its east and to its south as part of its business on Tuesday.
Several notes were given by both engineering and planning staff back in February to clarify details on the plat and on any potential amenities in the new subdivision.
As an example, if the subdivision includes a common pool, which the developer has expressed interest in, that would need to be added before a final plat could be issued.
Also, engineering is asking that a trip generation study be required for the fully developed subdivision. If the developed subdivision generates 100 to 499 trips in a peak hour a Transportation Impact study will be required.
The Hutchinson City Planning Commission will meet Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. in the City Council chambers at 125 East Avenue B.
