The City of Hutchinson is now accepting applications for open seats on the Planning Commission, offering residents an opportunity to help shape the city’s future.
The Planning Commission plays a key role in community development, advising on land use, zoning decisions, and long-term planning efforts. Members of the board are appointed by the Mayor and may serve up to two three-year terms.

Meetings are held twice a month, and officials say the board is looking for individuals who are passionate about Hutchinson’s growth and committed to civic engagement.
Residents interested in serving on the commission are encouraged to apply now. You can apply at this link.
