McPHERSON, Kan. — Two people have been killed in a single vehicle accident in McPherson County early Monday morning. The McPherson County Sheriff's Department says the accident happened just after midnight at 9th and Pioneer Road or about five miles northwest of McPherson
According to law enforcement two males believed to be in their 20’s lost control of the vehicle at the intersection. The vehicle went into the ditch and rolled ejecting the two men. Neither occupant was wearing a seat belt and were pronounced dead at the scene. A third person who was properly restrained was taken to the hospital where he was treated and released.
Speed is believed to have been a factor in the crash which is still under investigation.
