HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The options for early morning beverages continue to spread in the Salt City.
The Hutchinson Planning Commission will take on a rezoning as part of its meeting on Tuesday to allow for an HTeaO, a drive-thru iced tea store.
HTeaO is a business that features 25 different flavors of sweet and unsweetened tea, with more than 500 combinations of drinks that can be created. Those stores traditionally also have a retail side where you can go into the store and purchase permanent cups and snacks.
They already have one completed location in Wichita, with a second one to come. The new store will be near the corner of East 30th Avenue and Waldron Street, just 350 feet down the street from where there is already a Scooter's Coffee location and on the opposite side of the street from the Subway sandwich shop.
The Hutchinson Planning Commission will meet at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday in the City Council Chamber at 125 E Avenue B.
