🏀 Sterling women open NAIA tournament March 14 in Tennessee

The Sterling College Warriors women's basketball team will make the 652-mile one-way trip to McKenzie, Tenn. for the NAIA Women's Basketball National Championship First & Second Round March 14-15.

The selection show took place on Thursday evening. 

The Warriors, who earned an automatic bid after winning the KCAC Tournament title Tuesday, will be the No. 16 seed in the Cramer Quadrant. Sterling will play the host, Bethel (Tenn.) on Friday, March 14. The game time is yet to be determined.

The winner of the Sterling-Bethel game will face the winner of Benedictine and LSU Alexandria (La.) in the Second Round on Saturday, March 15.

Sterling enters the national tournament with a 21-10 record and has won three consecutive games. Bethel (Tenn.) is 23-7 and has won four straight. The Wildcats defeated Campbellsville (Tenn.) in the Mid-South Conference on Tuesday.
