HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson USD 308 Board of Education will set its RNR (Revenue Neutral Rate) Hearing for September 12 at 5:45 p.m. and the Budget Hearing for September 12 at 5:50 p.m. as part of its meeting agenda Monday evening.
Also on that agenda is improving the special education space at Hutchinson High School to better reflect life skills that kids, especially those in wheelchairs, will need to learn, at a total project cost of $63,633.
The board will also adopt a policy on therapy dogs in the district, look at a request for a hydroponic tower garden at Wiley Elementary paid for with a grant from Heartland Credit Union, and have executive sessions for non-elected personnel and to discuss a real estate transaction.
The meeting is at 6:00 p.m. Monday, August 22, 2022, at the USD 308 Administrative Center located at 1520 N Plum.
