HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The COVID-19 case count in Reno County is at 650 as of Monday, which is roughly the same level as it was the week before Christmas 2020.
Reno County has recorded its 150th COVID-related death. The county recorded its 50th death in late November and its 100th between Christmas and New Year's.
Of the 8,660 cases with a resolution (either recovery or death), 1.7% have died.
The 650 current active cases equal almost 7% of all the confirmed cases in Reno County throughout the pandemic.
Of the 63 patients in Hutchinson Regional as of Monday, 13 have COVID, three of those were vaccinated and none of the vaccinated have either been put on respiratory support or are in the ICU.
