First Chamber legislative session is Feb 20

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson/Reno County Chamber of Commerce is hosting its first Legislative Forum for the 2021 legislative session virtually on Saturday, February 20th from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.  This event will be live-streamed on the Hutch Chamber Facebook Page for those who want to participate.

During the forum, Reno County legislators will answer questions about topics of interest here in Kansas.  Those wanting to submit questions for the forum can do so by emailing [email protected] or online at hutchchamber.com/advocacy/legislativeforum.  The Reno County legislators invited to participate are Senator Mark Steffen, Representative Joe Seiwert, Representative Paul Waggoner, Representative Jason Probst, and Representative Michael Murphy.

The forum is presented by AT&T with supporting sponsorship from Hutchinson Regional Healthcare System and organized by the Chamber of Commerce Public Policy Committee.  Additional legislative forums have also been set for Saturday, March 13th and Saturday, April 10th.  More details on these upcoming forums, including location, will be released soon.
