John L. Eckert, 87, longtime Hutchinson High School chemistry and biology teacher, died March 18, 2021, in Hutchinson. He is survived by his one sister, Joanne Whelchel, of Dodge City.
Masonic graveside services will be held later this spring at the Hanston, Kansas Cemetery. Memorials can be made to Hospice of Reno County, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
