Hutchinson Community College sophomore outside hitter Atlyn Proctor was named the Jayhawk Conference Division I Volleyball Player of the Week for the first time in her Blue Dragon career on Tuesday.
An outside hitter from Nelson, British Columbia, Canada Proctor hit .287 and averaged 3.20 kills per set in a 3-1 week for Hutchinson at the McCook Labor Day Tournament in McCook, Nebraska.
Over 15 sets played, Proctor had 48 kills on 129 attacks and she added three total blocks and a service ace.
In Hutchinson's reserve sweep of North Platte on Saturday, Proctor had 17 kills and hit .300 on a career-high 50 attacks. Proctor also hit a career-high .500 in a 15-kill performance against McCook.
Proctor is Hutchinson’s leading hitter with 2.81 kills per set and a season hitting percentage of .234.
Proctor and the Blue Dragons play host to No. 5 Barton in the 2025 Jayhawk Conference and Blue Dragon home opener at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Sports Arena.
