Shirley L. Andsager, 83, passed away Friday, September 24, 2021, at Wesley Towers Thorne Care Center, Hutchinson, KS.
Shirley was born January 12, 1938, in Plevna, KS, the daughter Harold J. and Lillian N. (Lenz) Brosius. She graduated from Plevna High School in 1956. Shirley was employed in the medical and insurance field and retired after 40 years in the early childhood education and development field. She was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church.
Shirley loved to do crossword puzzles, playing cards and Mexican Train dominos with her friends. She also loved and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Harold, Jack and Jimmy Brosius, sisters, Jeanne Smith, Joyce Nusser, Virginia Lail, and Joan Crisafi. Shirley is survived by her son, Kevin D. Andsager, daughter, Kim D. Williams, brothers, John, Bill, and Tom Brosius, five grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, October 1, 2021 at Memorial Park Cemetery, 5905 W. 4th Ave, Hutchinson.
