ARLINGTON — An Amazon truck driver was injured in Reno County Sunday morning.
The Reno County Sheriff's Office reports that 43-year-old Jahongir Muratov of Brooklyn, NY was hauling a load for Amazon just before 2:30 a.m. Sunday when he called dispatch to tell them his truck overturned and he was stuck inside near 320 South K-61 Highway in Arlington.
Muratov was still in the cab of his semi and complained of hip, leg and back pain. He couldn't get out, so deputies broke the windshield with a baton and got him out of the semi.
Muratov told deputies that a small sedan passed him as he was entering Arlington and slammed on its brakes, causing him to lose control and roll the semi.
Muratov was taken to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center for treatment.
