ARLINGTON —
Update 10 a.m. Wednesday
KDHE has rescinded the boil water advisory for Arlington as pressure and chlorine levels were able to be maintained throughout the repair process and all other conditions are deemed by KDHE to be resolved. The original story is below:
The Kansas Department of Health and Environment has issued a boil water advisory for the community of Arlington.
The advisory was issued after a water line break caused a loss of pressure in the system. Residents in Arlington are asked to boil water before using it for food or drinking.
Residents should also dispose of all ice cubes and do not use ice from ice makers. All dishes should be submerged in water mixed with a teaspoon of unscented bleach for every gallon of water.
The advisory will remain in effect until the water system is deemed safe by KDHE.
