Hutchinson City Council to discuss deed for Disability Supports Tuesday

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson City Council will have a relatively busy agenda Tuesday morning.

Following the regularly scheduled public comment period, the council will approve the appointment of Christopher Swartz to the Airport Advisory Committee, Amanda Smith to the Public Library Board, approval of the City's 2021 water tap charges and the latest appropriations ordinance.

Also, the council will consider redemption and payment of the economic development revenue bonds for Disability Supports of the Great Plains and deeding them the property. In addition, they will consider an eminent domain resolution for the Cow Creek channel improvements, and a resolution of support for a Community Fisheries Assistance Program Grant to develop the 4th Street Arkansas River access point and approve a contract for design services on the concession building at Hobart-Detter Field.

The council will also receive a report from City Manager Jeff Cantrell and any items to be brought up by council members.
