
HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The latest installment of the Dillon Lecture Series will feature NASA astronaut and Kansas native Nick Hague. Hague’s presentation begins at 10:30 Tuesday morning at the Hutchinson Sports Arena. The lecture is open to the public. Cost to attend the lecture is only $10, with students admitted free.
Hague was born in Belleville, KS and graduated from Hoxie High School in 1994. He was selected by NASA as an astronaut in 2013. The Kansas native earned a Bachelor of Science in Astronautical Engineering from the United States Air Force Academy in 1998, and a Master of Science in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2000.
In 2009, Hague was selected for the Air Force Fellows program in Washington, D.C., and was a staff member in the United States Senate. Hague most recently served as Flight Engineer on the International Space Station for Expedition 59 and 60.
