HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Registration is open for a 12-week program designed to help entrepreneurs and small business owners develop the skills needed to launch, operate and grow their businesses.
The Entrepreneurship Business Basics JUMP©+AI program, also known as EBB JUMP©+AI, will run from Aug. 24 through Nov. 16. The course is sponsored by StartUp Hutch and Network Kansas.
Registration is open through July 31.
The program will focus on business fundamentals, local resources and practical steps participants can take to strengthen a business idea or an existing operation. This year’s course will also provide guidance on how small business owners can use artificial intelligence to save time, support marketing efforts, improve operations and make more informed decisions.
“EBB JUMP©+AI gives entrepreneurs a supportive place to learn, test ideas, build confidence, and connect with others who want to see them succeed,” StartUp Hutch Executive Director Graham Klemme said. “We’re excited to bring this program back and give participants practical tools they can use right away, including new ways to think about AI in small business.”
The course will be led by facilitator Kira Cheree’ Cobb and will meet from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday evenings. The program will use a hybrid format, with select sessions held in person and the remaining classes conducted online.
In-person sessions will include the opening class, a Kansas State Fair business tour on Sept. 14, graduation and a final pitch contest. Participants will have an opportunity to apply what they learned during the contest and compete for a $1,000 cash prize to help advance their business.
The course is valued at $700, but the registration fee is $100 because of support from program sponsors. A $50 deposit will be refunded after successful completion of the program. Limited scholarships are available.
Registration is available at ebbkc.com/register.
