HUTCHINSON, Kan. — If you'd like to learn more before you vote, you can do that on Tuesday in Hutchinson.
"Tuesday, the chamber is hosting a candidate forum at Hutchinson Community College Stringer Fine Arts Center," said Debra Teufel with the Chamber. "It starts at 5.30 p.m. We will begin with the candidate forum for the county commission seats, two of the contested races. Then we will close with the state house and senate seats that are up for election in this upcoming general election. We just want to make sure the public is invited to attend. We look forward to hosting that so that we can have a more informed voter base when they make the decisions on these important offices."
Invited to participate are Kansas Senate District 34 candidates Shanna Henry and Michael Murphy, Kansas Representative District 102 candidates Jason Probst and Kyler Sweely, and Kansas Representative District 104 candidates Lynnette Krieger-Zook and Paul Waggoner. Reno County Commission District candidates invited to participate are District 3 candidates Garth Strand and Ron Vincent and District 4 candidates Lindsey Hatfield and Richard Winger.
Teufel will act as the moderator.
