Georgianna Marie ‘Georgia’ Weber, 74, of Hutchinson, died October 14, 2020, at Hospice House, Hutchinson. She was born October 23, 1945, in Norton, to Frank W. and Ruth J. (Bielser) Currier.

Georgia graduated from Hoxie High School in 1963 and from Northwest Kansas Technical College, as well as attended Fort Hays State University. She served on the kitchen staff in the Colby and St. Marys public schools. Georgia enjoyed camping and loved watching birds. She was a member of Hoxie Presbyterian Church.

On July 29, 1967, Georgia married Max E. Weber in Hoxie. They shared 53 years of marriage. He survives.

Also surviving are daughters, Ronda Hedrick (Aryn) of Nickerson, and Jenifer Lasky (Michael) of Wichita; grandchildren, Cayle, Lian, and Rayne Hedrick; sister, Wanita Smith (Tom) of Crestwell, OR; nephew, Scott Smith (Chris Brooks); great-nephew, Tanner Smith; great-nieces, Stephanie Mendoza (Luis), and Kimmie, Sol, Lily and Every Mendoza.

Georgia was preceded in death by her parents.

Cremation has taken place and a private family graveside service will be held in Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson. Friends may sign the memorial book from 1-8 p.m. Sunday, Ocotber 18, 2020, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday thru Friday, October 23, 2020, at Elliott Mortuary.
