MONTGOMERY COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a murder and have a suspect in custody.
Just after 10p.m. April 23, police responded to the 700 block of West Martin Street in Coffeyville after report of a shooting. When officers arrived on scene they learned a private vehicle transported the gunshot victim, Christopher Temple, 46, of Coffeyville to a local hospital.
Temple was later transported to St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, where he died, according to Captain Darin Daily.
On Monday, authorities in Torrance County New Mexico arrested the suspect identified as Ruben Alfonso Ruiz Robles, 24, of Coffeyville. He is being held in the Torrance County Jail.
Police released no additional details late Monday.
