MCPHERSON COUNTY —A Kansas woman was injured in an accident just before 2 p.m. Sunday in McPherson County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2002 Ford Explorer driven by Marilyn K. Sidebottom, 66, Wichita, was northbound on Interstate 135 a mile and a half south of Arrowhead Road.
The driver lost control due to road conditions. The SUV traveled the road off into the east ditch and struck the bridge pillar.
EMS transported Sidebottom to Newton Medical Center. She was properly restrained, according to the KHP.
