Judy’s life began on July 27, 1961, in Lawrence. She was the daughter of Gene Gerard and Dessie Parthenia (Dean) Bickford.
Judy had been employed by Barkman Honey Co. in Hillsboro and previously had worked for Scotch Cleaners. She is remembered for her love of her flowers and gardening. Judy was a faithful volunteer for the Marion County Toy Run. She enjoyed cross stitch and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Her loving family includes her longtime partner Robert Thornhill of Ramona; daughter Chelsea (Andrew) Weber of Cedar Point; grandchildren Tucker and Paul Weber and Abigail Smith; and her siblings Joe (Marci) Bickford and Roy (Kaiping) Bickford, both of Lawrence.
Judy passed away on Friday June 24, 2022, at the Hillsboro Community Hospital. She is preceded in death by her parents and daughter Jessica Smith. A private family celebration will be held, and she will be laid to rest in Lewis Cemetery, Ramona.
