HUTCHINSON, Kan. — A Budweiser Clydesdale will make a special appearance Tuesday at AJ’s Sports Grill in Hutchinson.
The horse will be available for an up-close visit and photographs from 4 to 6 p.m. Families and visitors are encouraged to bring their cameras.
AJ’s will offer $3 Budweiser bottles and pints during the event. The restaurant will also have two-for-one pizzas throughout the day for dine-in customers.
The appearance coincides with the Budweiser Clydesdales’ visit to the Kansas State Fair. The horses are available for daily stable viewing at the Kansas State Fairgrounds from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Sunday, Sept. 20.
Additional fair appearances include a full-hitch parade Wednesday from 4 to 6 p.m., a one-horse appearance Thursday from 1 to 3 p.m. at the 1861 Club and a full-hitch parade and Folds of Honor presentation Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m. near the White House and 1861 Club.
