RENO COUNTY—A Hutchinson man was injured in an accident just after 3:30 p.m. Friday in Reno County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 1993 Chrysler Imperial driven by Lane David Archer, 27, Hutchinson, was traveling on Haven Road at E Trail West Road.
The driver failed to stop for a school bus with activated sign dropping off a child. The Chrysler rear-ended a 2011 Chevy Silverado driven by Howard Kevin Rush, 58, Hutchinson, who was stopped behind the bus.
The impact caused the Silverado to rear-end a 2014 Ford Escape driven by Allison Shae Jankford, 31, Burrton, who was also waiting for the bus.
EMS transported Archer to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. There were no other injuries. The drivers and passengers were all properly restrained, according to the KHP.
