
HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The American Red Cross and Hutch Rec will be holding a babysitting training clinic.
The eight hour clinic will teach youth how to respond to emergencies, make good decisions under pressure, communicate with parents and recognize safety and hygiene issues.
The program will also provide information on starting your own babysitting business. The program is for youth ages 10 through 17. The classes will run from Oct. 13 through Oct. 22 from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the Hutch Rec downtown offices.
The deadline to register is Oct. 9 with a minimum class size of five and maximum of 12. Registration for the training class is $50.
