Jacob Douglas Shrewsbury, age 20, of Sedgwick, Kansas, passed away on Saturday, January 22, 2022.    He was born in Wichita, to Douglas Shrewsbury and Debrah Cline.

He spent most of his life in Sedgwick where he attended schools, yet received his diploma through the State of Kansas online. He went on to take some college classes also. Jake was a free spirit and had many ideas of his career path for the future. He was a sucessful pharmaceutical salesan and a skilled handyman willing to help anyone in need.  He had a passion for music, he would write, perform, listen, jam and surround himself with music. He loved driving around for hours with no destination in mind, yet he enjoyed fishing and bonfires.  He loved being able to inspire others to persevere and was an amazing friend and mentor.  He was very athletic, but hung up his cleats to cheer on his siblings and even coach his big brother Elijah from the sidelines.

Jacob's greatest love was for his family (especially his sister Ruby) and also his friends. He was our best friend, our protector, biggest supporter and best hugger.  He gave this world far more than he ever received.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents James and Sheryl Shrewsbury.

Jacob is survived by his parents Debrah Cline of Sedgwick and Douglas (Becky) Shrewsbury; siblings Elijah, Rebekah, Ruby, Brayton, Tobias and Anakin; grandmother Carla Stephens of El Dorado; many other family and friends.
