HUTCHINSON, Kan. — According to a Tuesday social media post, Interfaith Housing is making a limited number of bricks available from the demolition of the old St. Elizabeth Hospital.
Bricks will be available in designated barrels outside the construction fence for the public to pick up at the former St. Elizabeth's demolition site Wednesday, Sept. 25, at 9 a.m. until the barrels are empty.
If you are interested, go to the west side of the demolition site on N. Jackson St. between W. 20th and W 21st.
Please be respectful and take one or two for memorabilia. The remaining bricks from the demolition will be recycled and repurposed.
