Hutchinson police are investigating after a man was stabbed Thursday afternoon near George Pyle Park.
According to the Hutchinson Police Department, officers were dispatched at approximately 4:16 p.m. Thursday to George Pyle Park, 100 E. Ave. B, following a report of a disturbance.
When officers arrived, they learned an individual had been stabbed. The victim was located near the intersection of Avenue A and Walnut Street and was transported by Reno County EMS to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center.
Police said the victim was listed in serious but stable condition and is expected to make a full recovery.
The investigation remains ongoing. Authorities said they do not believe there is an ongoing danger to the public.
