HUTCHINSON, Kan. — A local credit union wanted to give some Salthawk spirit to Hutchinson USD 308 while providing personal protective equipment.&nbsp;

Heartland Credit Union donated a supply of Salthawk face masks for staff. HCU has been a long-time district partner, dating back to 1948 when it was formed as Hutchinson Teachers Credit Union.&nbsp;

HCU's connection with USD 308 was furthered when they opened a branch in the high school in 2019 offering a curriculum for students and an internship program.
