
The National Weather Service has issued a fire weather watch from Friday morning through Friday evening for extreme grassland fire danger for central, south-central and southeastern Kansas.
• Extreme grassland fire danger
• Winds: South 30 to 35 m.p.h. with gusts up to 55 m.p.h.
• Relative humidity as low as 19 percent
• Impacts: Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly and become very difficult to control. Outdoor burning is not recommended
