HUTCHINSON, Kan. — At the start of the summer, the Friends of the Hutchinson Public Library had to stop accepting donations because there wasn’t room for donated books. Now that has changed.

The group is now accepting donations of books and magazines. Designated carts will be placed outside the garage doors behind the library.

The items will be placed in quarantine for 7 days before they are sorted, cleaned, and ready to sell in the Friendshop Book Store.

Donations will only be accepted on Wednesdays. The library also asks that you do not leave donations when rain or bad weather is expected.
