Railroad Crossing Repairs to Begin in Hutchinson
HUTCHINSON – Railroad crews with BNSF will begin work on several crossings in Hutchinson starting Sunday, August 17. The projects are expected to take about four weeks to complete.
The crossings scheduled for repair include:
• North Pershing Street - between First and Second Ave.
• North Severance Street - at First Avenue
• North Lorraine Street - between First Avenue and East Avenue A
The City of Hutchinson said closures and detours will be announced as work progresses. Drivers are encouraged to plan ahead and allow extra travel time once details are released.
