SHAWNEE COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a shooting and asking the public for help to locate a suspet.
Just before 10p.m.February 24, police responded to a report of a possible shooting in the 1300 block of SW Gage Blvd. in Topeka, according to police spokesperson Gretchen Spiker.
Officers arrived on scene and found a single male victim suffering what appeared to be a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries.
On Monday police identified Tabor S. Brown, 19 of Topeka as a person of interest in the shooting. Anyone with information about Brown’s location, including past sightings is asked to call police.
