SHAWNEE COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating two suspects after a traffic stop on a stolen vehicle.
Just after 3:30 a.m. Monday, a deputy conducted a traffic stop on a 2010 Toyota Corolla in the 1600 block of SW 72nd Terrace, according to Deputy Abigail Christian.
The Toyota was reported stolen through the Topeka Police Department.
Deputies arrested a passenger in the vehicle identified as Phil A. Davis, Sr.,67, of Topeka, a passenger, on a felony narcotics warrant and booked into the Shawnee County Department of Corrections.
Another passenger, Philtasha T. Powell, 24, of Topeka, was booked into jail on requested charges of possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
