A night of stand-up comedy and music is coming to Hutchinson later this month as organizers prepare for “Haha Hutch,” a comedy event featuring Hutchinson native Brett Riley.

The show is scheduled for Friday, March 27, and will be held at the 1861 Club as part of the venue’s Liquid Aloha concert series. Organizers say Riley, a Hutchinson High School graduate, has been building a following on the West Coast comedy circuit and will be returning home for what is believed to be his first performance in Hutchinson.

Riley will headline the evening with a stand-up performance, and the entertainment will continue after the show with a DJ providing music for the remainder of the night. Organizers say the goal is to create a full evening of entertainment where attendees can enjoy comedy and stay afterward to socialize and enjoy the music.

Tickets for “Haha Hutch” are available online through the 1861 Club website at 1861club.com, which links to the same ticketing platform used for Kansas State Fair events.

“Haha Hutch” is expected to draw both comedy fans and community members interested in supporting a hometown performer returning to the stage in Hutchinson.
