Allene D. Redd, 85, of Hutchinson, Kansas passed away Monday, December 14, 2020, at her home. She was born January 13, 1935 in Hutchinson, the daughter of Howard and Allene (Field) Duncan.
She was a title clerk for the Reno County Title Company, and later worked for the Reno County Courthouse in the Register of Deeds office.
She loved to do puzzles, scrapbooking, sewing, knitting, traveling and genealogy.
Allene was united in marriage to Jerry L. Redd on May 4, 1956 in South Hutchinson. He survives of the home.
Other survivors include her three daughters, Patricia Strait and Tammy (Richard) Brown, both of Hutchinson, and Cindy (Brian) Dees of Burrton; nine grandchildren, James (Jill) Brown, April (Gary) Wisecarver, Malissa Pettay, Holly Womack, Jessica Soden, Krysta Woelk, Brittany Fistler, Paige Brown and Ben (Ashley) Dees; 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Judy Geddes of Hutchinson; sister-in-law, Glenda Lighty of Hugoton; and brother-in-law, William Redd of South Hutchinson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Robert L. Redd; great-granddaughter, Emercynn Fistler; brother, LeRoy Dunan; sisters-in-law, Mary Branson, Marlene Gordon, and Melvene Duncan; and brothers-in-law, Dayul Redd, James Gordon and Earl Geddes.
Cremation is planned with a celebration of life service to be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Angel Arms Health in McPherson or Hospice of Reno County in care of Buhler Mortuary, PO Box 589, Buhler, KS 67522.
