Max is a 2-year-old, mixed breed dog.
We are thinking he is shepherd/pyrenees mix. He is very playful and at 104lbs he sometimes forgets he is so large when he gets the zoomies and runs into a person or his dog friends.
Max has been with us for 6 months and he is a lovable, sweet, friendly dog who likes to lay in the sunshine, play in the snow with his best friend Phoebe and chase the ball when we throw it for him but he rarely brings it back to us.
Max is neutered, UTD on vaccines, microchipped, heartworm tested-negative and is ready to have a home of his own.
Prior to coming to PAHS, he belonged to a homeless gentleman and this man was no longer able to care for him properly, so Max came to us with hopes of finding a loving home of his own.
Max is a little cautious of new people, but within minutes he warms up and wants to play. Max never has any accidents in his kennel and loves his toys. If the toys do have stuffing or a squeaker, he will perform surgery to remove those things.
