Earl Dale Underwood |1959-2021|

Earl Dale Underwood, 62, entered eternal rest on November 4, 2021. He was born March 29, 1959, in Hutchinson, Kansas, the son of Jerry and Nadine Morgan Underwood.

He graduated from Buhler High School and received an AA from Hutchinson Community College. A lifetime Hutchinson resident, he was a welder/pipe yard crew member for many years. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. He was a member of the Kansas Bowhunters Association and a lifetime member of the Salthawk Archery Club. He enjoyed participating in archery competitions and many hunting trips to Colorado, Arizona, and Oklahoma with his close friends.

He is survived by two sisters, Kathy Underwood of Hutchinson, and Lynne Underwood of McPherson; his nephew Dustin (Cheryl) Underwood of McPherson, and niece Alexandra Underwood of Oahu, Hawaii.

He was preceded in death by his parents and numerous aunts and uncles. He will be greatly missed by his “brothers from another mother” Cliff Bailey, Craig Bailey and Stan McAllister; the best friends a person could ever have.

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life is to be determined soon. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to DaVita Dialysis Center of Hutchinson or Salthawk Archery Club and can be sent in care of Hutchinson Funeral Chapel.
