Larry Newton Smart, 68, of Medicine Lodge, KS, died Friday, May 21, 2021 at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, Wichita, KS.
He was born on November 14, 1952 in Clovis, NM, the son of Weldon Smart and Johnnie M. (Carter) Smart.
Surviving are his wife, Bonita Hayes of Medicine Lodge, KS; one daughter, Desi (Joe) Young of Medicine Lodge, KS; one son, Joshua Smart of Salina, KS; Two grandchildren, Trenton Smart and Paislea Smart; one sister, Sharry Smart of Texas; one brother, Rodney Smart of Clovis, NM.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Dwayne Smart and Eric Dodgin.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
