Case count at 107 as of Wednesday, seven-day hospital admissions also at zero

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The overall COVID-19 case count in Reno County is at 107 as of Wednesday. The death count among Reno County residents is at 138.

Out of 7,715 total cases since the beginning of the pandemic, there have been 7,470 recoveries. There are 14 clusters still being monitored. The long-term care facility cluster type is down to just eight active cases.

No Reno County residents are in the hospital with COVID-19 as of Tuesday afternoon. In fact, the seven-day total on new admissions looking back to February 24 is also at 0. The last time that happened before this was looking back to September.

Drive-thru testing is currently available at the Kansas Cosmosphere at 1100 N Plum in Hutchinson.
