
Mavis Gene Logbeck, 93, passed away on June 16, 2020, at Mennonite Friendship Communities, South Hutchinson. She was born July 31, 1926, in Lyons, KS, the daughter of Walter and Katie (Cassell) Hurtt.
Mavis graduated from Lyons High School in 1944. She married Floyd Wagner on February 2, 1946. He passed away on July 23, 1971. Later she married Wayne Logbeck on March 8, 1991 in Hutchinson. He passed away on May 31, 2016.
Mavis worked for Lyons State Bank, Wagner Trucking and Hutchinson Floral as a book keeper.
Mavis is preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Floyd Wagner and Wayne Logbeck; a brother, Walter K. Hurtt; a son, Kit Wagner and a grandson, Matt Malmstrom.
Survivors include her son, Todd (Donna) Wagner of Henderson, NV, two daughters, Kim (John) Knight and Kathy (Gary) Lohrey both of Hutchinson; step daughter, Nanette (Raymond) St. Marie of Colorado; nine grandchildren, Katrina Burns, Jennifer Dixon, Todd Wagner II, Robert Wagner, John Knight Jr., Amy Liedl, Timothy Ladd, Raymond St. Marie and Tiffany St. Marie; 21 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, June 20, 2020 at Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E. 30th Ave., Hutchinson, KS with Howard Nelson officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 19, 2020 from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. with family greeting guests from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Hutchinson Funeral Chapel. Burial will take place at Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Hospice House of Reno County and can be sent in care of the funeral chapel.
