HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Reno County entrepreneurs and small business owners will have an opportunity to sharpen their marketing skills during a free workshop hosted by StartUp Hutch on Wednesday.

The “Small Business Marketing Workshop” is scheduled for Wednesday, May 13, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Hutchinson/Reno County Chamber of Commerce, 117 N. Walnut in Hutchinson.

The workshop is designed for business owners who feel their marketing efforts have become “scattered, inconsistent, or like a constant guessing game.” Executive director Graham Klemme says the session will focus on practical strategies that participants can immediately apply to their businesses.

The event is being hosted by StartUp Hutch in partnership with the Hutchinson/Reno County Chamber of Commerce and the Wichita State University Small Business Development Center.

Workshop topics will include identifying where to focus marketing efforts, implementing practical strategies, and learning from professionals who regularly work with small businesses.

Featured speakers include Brandy Willett, regional director of Kansas SBDC; Lori Bower, president of BowerComm; and Graham Klemme, executive director of StartUp Hutch.

Klemme says attendees will have opportunities to ask questions, network with other local business owners, and leave with clearer next steps for growing their businesses.
