On April 13, 2024, Jackie Joe Earl Shryock, went to be with God. His beautiful wife, Trudy, watched as God took her best friend to an eternal peace. Jackie Joe Earl Shryock, born on December 7, 1946, was the love of her life. Blessed with over 57 years together, they shared a life filled with family and friends. Jackie was an upstanding member of the Navy who loyally served his country for 12 years. After the Navy, he used his skills in food service with McDonalds and Long John Silvers. He made a career change to Auto Mechanics and worked for Quality Chevrolet until the dealership closed. Always working hard to provide for and protect his family, Jackie joined the team at Federal Warehouse doing parts counter work and worked at Walmart in the bakery.
He is survived by his wife Trudy, daughter Teresa, grandchildren, Brandi, Gabby, Sami, Brett, Dylan, Justin, and 13 great grandchildren. Other survivors include Jackie’s brothers Dennis and Larry Shryock, and sister Nita Kay Edwards, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A memorial service is pending and will be announced later by the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Jack's memory to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S. Market, Wichita, KS 67202.
