Debra Ann Kelso, 65, of Hesston, Kansas, passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at her home. She was born July 28, 1956 in Moundridge, the daughter of Eugene “Gene” D. and June J. (Stucky) Graber.
She graduated from Moundridge High School with the class of 1974. Deb later graduated from Salt City Business College.
Deb was united in marriage to Scot Kelso on June 24, 2000 in Arkansas.
She was a member at Whitestone Mennonite Church in Hesston.
Deb worked as the assistant to the CEO of Halstead Hospital, later following the CEO to Wesley Hospital in Wichita, where she worked until her passing.
She is survived by her husband Scot Kelso of Hesston; son, Dustin (Cassie) Koehn of Newton; mother, June Graber; two granddaughters, Lakyn and Kinzie Koehn; and sister, Connie (Keith) Schrag of Moundridge;
Deb was preceded in death by her father, Eugene Dale Graber.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, June 26, 2022 at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Newton. A celebration of life service will follow at 3:00 p.m., at Whitestone Mennonite Church in Hesston. Family will greet friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Saturday, June 25 at Whitestone Mennonite Church.
