HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Hutchinson Fire battled a small brush fire just north of the city Friday afternoon in the area of 43rd and Lorraine.
No word was given on any injuries or damage. 43rd from Lorraine to Panorama and 56th from Lorraine to Halstead were closed to traffic briefly on Friday afternoon.
Friday's combination of strong south winds and low relative humidity prompted a Red Flag Warning.
